MY WEEKLY BLOG

Day 1
Week 3 | day 1 : Today's task remained focused on managing the Facebook page. However, I took it upon myself to go beyond the assigned responsibilities. I decided to revisit and improve the design of the DigitalJobsPH Technical Training Workshop - Call for Application Poster. Even though this wasn't an official task, I felt compelled to enhance my design as I wasn't entirely satisfied with it. During our discussions, Ma'am Lydeline informed us that they had a busy schedule for the week. In the afternoon, I continued my work on editing the Canva poster, striving to refine and perfect it further.

Day 2

Day 2 of the week began with me continuing my role of managing the Facebook page, ensuring I attended to people's comments and inquiries promptly. Simultaneously, I persisted in working on my Canva poster, refining it to meet my satisfaction. In the afternoon, I decided to revisit the IBPLS process, gearing up for the upcoming 4th-week seminar. I dedicated my time to studying the system's flow once more, striving to grasp how it operates in-depth to prepare myself effectively.

Day 3
October 3
On the third day of this week, the work plan remained focused on managing the Facebook page. While tending to the page, I took the opportunity to continue my study of the IBPLS system and its intricate flow. This system is vast and complex, and I aimed to deepen my understanding of it. It's worth noting that our workload was relatively light this week due to Ma'am Lydeline and her team's busy schedule. As a result, we didn't need to go to the office, allowing us more time to engage in productive self-study and preparation.

Day 4
The fourth day of the third week at DICT was quite eventful. In the morning, we had the opportunity to visit Lewis College to celebrate Teacher's Day. We participated in the event and observed teachers enjoying their special day. In the afternoon, at 1 PM, I joined the "TECHTALKS THURSDAY: EPISODE 1 - Basic Navigation and Photo Editing using Adobe Photoshop." The event featured guest speaker Chris Turado, a professional Photoshop editor. He shared valuable insights on the fastest way to learn Photoshop, including shortcut keys and essential aspects of navigating Photoshop effectively. Chris also introduced us to some of the new features in Photoshop. I found the session particularly enjoyable and informative, given my prior knowledge of how to use Photoshop. It was a great learning opportunity, and I was amazed to see many students participating in the Zoom meeting. I learned a lot from a seasoned professional in the field of Photoshop editing.
